Maine Evergreen Boxes

Michael Boisvert is the owner and operator of Maine Evergreen Boxes.  He is an Air Force Veteran, having served 25 years in the United States Air Force.  He was a crew chief on the KC 135 air refueling tanker.  Woodworking is a passion of his and since retiring he has gotten to spend more time in one of his favorite places – the wood shop.

Wooden Boxes

Michael started to make display boxes for his youngest Grandson, who loves to collect rocks. The business soon bloomed into the treasure boxes that he makes. He designed them to look like the old wooden lobster traps with the rounded top. His wife, Susan, added the  historical photos of the Maine lighthouses and has since added many other Maine and New Hampshire photos. Most boxes come with a small note card depicting historical facts and other information.

Michael, and his wife, have designed many boxes for people over the years with personal photos and intimate sayings added to them for special occasions. They have done a wedding box, barrel racing rodeo boxes, special boxes for ashes of loved ones, and they have most recently added a jewelry box.

No box is too big or too small. All boxes are made from wood that is milled from our own land. The wood mill is Michael’s newest purchases and he is having a lot of fun using it to make new stuff; live edge shelves, for example.

Our wood products can be purchased at some local craft/artisan fairs throughout the summer and fall in southern Maine and New Hampshire and here on our website. We look forward to many more adventures and new products that will be made with our customers best interest in mind.
